As a young girl there were so many lessons I had to learn. I was tall and skinny and just as most teens go through an uncomfortable phase, I to was awkward and unsure. By 13 or 14 years old I began searching for my ‘own style’, but it wasn’t until I took a course that taught hair care, skin care, make-up, how to walk, and a few other etiquette skills, that I began to gather a sense of personal confidence. It’s never to early to develop good character, strong academic skills, and gain an understanding of personal and social skills. We all make mistakes, it’s a part of growing up, but one sure sign of maturity is not repeating those same mistakes again and again. Do your best with what you’ve been given, listen to and accept good advice because trust me, “when you know better, you will do better”.

Work has played out more like an adventure that has taken Paula throughout the world…. France, Italy, Switzerland, and Germany as a high-fashion model, permitting Paula to refine her creative talents. When that was completed Paula didn’t waste any time igniting a broadcast and production career traveling throughout America, England and the Continent of Africa. This California native’s whirl-wind career in the arts and entertainment all began soon after college when she won the coveted pageant title of ‘Miss California’. Paula developed and continues teaching a personal growth curriculum which includes personal, social, image, and life preparation skills. Her most recent book for teens is titled, ‘Social Media, say Hello to Social Skills’. Paula’s compelling personal story is also featured in the award-winning documentary, ‘SoulMate’.
